This 150ml Gaiwan is a magnificent blend of Ming Dynasty artistry and imperial craftsmanship. It features elaborate cloisonné enamel lotus vines set on a celadon-green ceramic base, enhanced with 24K silver filigree. Crafted in Dehua, known as China's porcelain capital, each piece is meticulously hand-decorated using the wire-inlaid enamel technique. Skilled artisans shape silver wires into intricate swirling patterns of lotus and vines, fill them with vivid enamel, and fire the gaiwan multiple times to obtain a dazzling, jewel-like shine.

The design is inspired by the "endless knot" motif, which symbolizes everlasting harmony and prosperity. The celadon glaze gives off an air of tranquility similar to that of jade. With a compact diameter of 9.6cm and an ergonomic lid, the gaiwan allows for precise control when brewing delicate teas such as green or white peony.
