Handmade Gilded Gaiwan - 100ml Silver & Gold Accents, Retro Tea Ceremony

Embodying the opulence of ancient tea rituals, this 100ml Gaiwan combines Dehua’s ceramic mastery with intricate gilded artistry. Handcrafted in China’s “Porcelain Capital,” the  (two-part lid) features a  (retro) silhouette, adorned with shimmering silver or gold accents using traditional  (fire-gilding) techniques. The unglazed ceramic body, fired at 1280°C, retains heat efficiently while the thin walls allow precise control over steeping delicate teas like green or white peony.

The Gaiwan’s compact size (10cm height) and ergonomic design ensure a comfortable grip, ideal for solo tea sessions or Gongfu ceremonies. Each piece is unique—subtle variations in the gilded patterns reflect the artisan’s hand, celebrating imperfections that align with wabi-sabi philosophy.
